Hi, after viewing many of these videos I have decided to make a new channel with content on surviving law school. I myself am a Cardozo grad class of 2004 and my wife is a Pace grad 2019. I am currently a Village Justice in a village in NY and my wife is a partner at a medical malpractice firm. I hope our material helps anyone, if you should have any questions you would like us to address specifically please feel free to ask publicly or privately, anytime! https://youtu.be/Pg05y6bV4cw
Thanks for the tips Alana. This is my first semester in law school and I kept hearing how important outlines are but don't know where to even start when everything is so new and confusing as 1L student. I feel overwhelmed with the pressure of having to grasp every information before outlining, but now I know that's not the main point.
Am I reading correctly that you wrote on para A.1.a. that "creditors should lie, harass, threaten or engage in violence" instead of using the negative for that? Your video is great but the outline needs proofreading. I hope you caught that prior to submitting the homework.
πππππππ bankruptcy my ass! Iβm about to sue the shit out of all you then Iβll be wealthy AF! No money in my bank account at the moment but RICHER AND MORE POWERFUL THAN ALL OF YOU COMBINED!
Hi! Thank you so much for your videos. Iβm a 1L and was wondering if you could share with me one of your outlines. I begin my classes in one week and Iβm a little nervous about it.
Was waiting for the good part the actual written outline and I totally zoned out! Hope when I get to law school I can focus lol thank you for your time and effort of showing your ways to study and get through law school in general
Thank you for your advice and Honesty.
I love your videos and to see your growth you'll get there in no time !
Question: Do you still use the same guide of 15-20 page outlines even for your open note exams? Or do you give yourself some "flex" as you incorporate notes. I am a little nervous. 3 of my 4 finals are open note/open book…and all 3 are multiple choice. π³ #nailbiter #2L
Thank you soooo much for this! I'm an 1L and I've been outlining recently. It's so stressful! I'm so nervous for exams π©
I know you are studying to become a lawyer however have you ever given any consideration about teaching law? Your vlogs are so inspirational and informative. Btw…can you vlog about the importance of focus when in law or in my case grad school. Thanks again!
This was SO helpful. Thank you!
I'm currently a freshman in college and I've been an aspiring lawyer since the eight grade. Thank you so much for making these videos because it shows me how my future will be in a few years. New subbie π
